It was a windy wedding day! She and her bridesmaids had a good workout just keeping the dress and veil in place for the ceremony. I’ve always told brides that they should embrace random things at their wedding. Random things will happen and they actually make your wedding more memorable. No one remembers the perfect wedding – because nothing really happened. But everyone remembers the wedding where the wind blew or it was freezing or the maid of honor fell into the lake! Mind you, I’m not saying it is a good thing that the maid of honor fell into the lake. I’m just saying that you can embrace the bad things, laugh at life, and make some good memories despite whatever happened.

Kind of like life – you can “embrace the suck” or you can dissolve into a puddle of tears! You can get on with enjoying yourself or you can hide in your basement out of fear of something bad happening.

I’ll embrace the suck and enjoy life to the fullest!

Now, if I can use the holiday time to finish deliver her wedding video…
