Lake Winnebago has no ice yet and it is hard to see how there will be enough for Spearing season in just over a month. Things have a way of catching up so you never know. This photo was taken as the first real Winter storm of the season was bearing down on the Fox Valley.
I used my Canon 5d MKIII with the Canon 16-35mm f/4 lens. Aperture was f/20 to get as much in focus as possible. The IS system really paid off as my hands were shaking from the bitter wind. Edited in Lightroom 6 to give the black and white pallet.
