One of the benefits of my life is a get to travel; one of the miserable things about my life is I have to travel a lot! Sometimes I get a few moments to take some pictures. It has been really wet this Fall and early Winter in Oregon and my last trip was no exception. It rained continuously from the moment I arrived until I was 30 minutes from the airport on the way home. I took the opportunity to visit a place I had never been before - Wahclella Falls. The trail follows the river for about 1…
Lake Winnebago has no ice yet and it is hard to see how there will be enough for Spearing season in just over a month. Things have a way of catching up so you never know. This photo was taken as the first real Winter storm of the season was bearing down on the Fox Valley. I used my Canon 5d MKIII with the Canon 16-35mm f/4 lens. Aperture was f/20 to get as much in focus as possible. The IS system really paid off as my hands were shaking from the bitter wind. Edited in Lightroom 6 to give…

There always are and it is our responsibility to do what we can to make things better. But don't let that stop us from thanking God…
The Super moon was on July 13th but clouds blocked. I shot this on July 14th so still pretty nice. Just working with my new camera slider rail. The hardest part is getting the exposure set so the video is not too light in the beginning and not too dark at the end.
A huge solar disturbance caused the Aurora to be visible from Neenah last night.
I saw these leaves blowing around by the cathedral in Ieper and found them to be beautiful! Ieper Leaves from Jalanlee on Vimeo.
We went to see "Wifee and The Huzz Band" at the Neenah Art in The Park on Sunday. Cool band! They have a 1962 Cadillac decked out in a sinister style. Kind of like the death car in Animal House. The chihuahua was a lot friendlier than he looks! Click on any image to view full size.
